Left school at 15, from then until I was 26 I worked on machines like this.
The Lathe. Turning chunks of metal (stainless steel, brass, and other metals.) Making products for ships, train engines to export all over the world AND machines in a Research Laboratory. Then on it was working with young humans on the edge. I don’t often see photos of these machines. I don’t know what the modern versions look like. Maybe only few about. We have lost much of our manufacturing industry. BHP Mechanical Engineer + Union Member.

Here is Little Norm singing ‘I have never seen your face’- so powerful. Such meaning for me. So much emotion in the song. The Voice and near the end there is a Guitar Solo at which I weep.
