Left school at 15, from then until I was 26 I worked on machines like this.
The Lathe. Turning chunks of metal (stainless steel, brass, and other metals.) Making products for ships, train engines to export all over the world AND machines in a Research Laboratory. Then on it was working with young humans on the edge. I don’t often see photos of these machines. I don’t know what the modern versions look like. Maybe only few about.
