1 My feelings are mine - they don't belong to anyone else. 2  When I feel annoyed it could mean that I have feelings triggered by another persons language or behaviours or a memory, conscious or unconscious, from our own life. BUT the feelings are mine. 3 Blame is a discharge of pain. 4 Where I am at is:: to feel a feeling not react to it without thinking. We can learn to do this:: Pause. Think. Then respond directed by our thinking, based on our values, self awareness. 5 Responding with the keyword "YOU" is usually the start of something regrettable.  Starting a response with the word "I" is usually followed by a more measured verbal response. A search of this website will give other examples of alternative language useful for our developing our own language and relationships. All this is so important to me NOW as it has been over years of life management and developing helping relationships with troubles humans of all ages. BHP

 

 

  Lisa I love you. It is her birthday tomorrow :: A few years ago today Lisa dropped off my screen. She had been ever present on Facebook. Then silence. She was as vulnerable as hell. Like all of us -  but she was so fragile  she could not pretend -  Like I do Like we do …….. She always used to carry around  a screw top coca-cola bottle -  she carried it everywhere.  It didn't only have coca-cola inside. Vodka was always present. I led regular group work sessions  in a London hostel where she lived. Lunch time with free tea and sandwiches. Also late night ones starting 10pm. We used to sit around. Starting with donuts dipped in a chocolate fondu. Individuals all with untold stories untold feelings. Some regulars Some nervous new residents.   I peep into my website everyday - glance at the HITS everyday ........... I try. I have been Blogging/Reflecting/Churning/Digging - ever since 2007 .......... and thanx to everyone who has helped me to set up/design - & help this blind man to see - to reach out to humans - to open up myself ........... Hits wise I forget what/when - but a sort of memory digs up 3 to 4 k each week - that has been generally the normal =  with swings up and down. A couple of days ago I was surprised that we hit 6838 =  hits in the last 7 days. Don't know why the jump. TODAY I have just jumped on my desktop (rather than my iPhone where generally I don't view my website hits) - but I do post short bits via my iPhone to you. TODAY a massive jump - never been seen before .................  9221 HITS (in the last 7 days)! I don't know why the jump! My heart warmed yesterday THEN:: From the USA:: Guns are on my mind (again),  especially the availability and use in this country. I have no issue with 2nd Amendment rights. I do have a problem with the ease at which guns are available. Also am deeply concerned at how many people are shot dead by police.  Without knowing any of the details about today's incident in Ohio,  I ponder how and why a 15 year old girl (possibly with a knife) is shot dead by a police officer. There has to be a different way of dealing with people who appear to be in some kind of crisis the likes of which most of us (me included) have not the remotest experience. These are troubles times in the United States and we need to come together. Partisan politics are literally "killing us"! STOP THE NONSENSE we all are human beings striving for a better world!   Hi Pip We already knew that Boris Johnson had  misled Parliament  when he insisted in February 2021 that all COVID contracts were now “on the record”. Now we’ve uncovered a new contract that makes further nonsense of that claim.  In July 2020 Pharmaceuticals Direct Limited was handed a £102.6 million Government PPE contract - without any competition. Though it was  awarded the multi-million pound deal  to supply face masks last July, Government failed to publish any details relating to the contract until March this year. In fact, it was only after our lawyers wrote to Government about Pharmaceuticals Direct that this lucrative contract was disclosed, long after Boris Johnson claimed all contract details were on the record. The company’s named representative was a man named Samir Jassal. Samir Jassal is a well-connected figure within the Conservative Party.  A two-time Conservative Party parliamentary candidate and former councillor, he has met Boris Johnson on at least three occasion

We had reserved a table for 6 -  family with our two Grandkids for lunch. It is a a big decision to isolate. I have no symptoms re the virus. None of the family do but We are are all being aware of the current scene. Our local favourite restaurant were so kind & understanding. The gathered staff just expressed:: their warmth as usual & were nothing but understanding. “Isolate yourself” they said. Not thinking of the loss of business! ME I feel strong I don’t feel ill. The prostate cancer is still indoors within me BUT I know I need to be aware that my imune system  can be door into me by this dreaded virus. Of the two of us I am the greater risk because of my cancer. We are trying to be sensible NO to extremes & panick. Feeling being managed by balanced minds. So we have a strategy for the next period of our lives. No large groups No visitors No visiting others No Training gigs No 121's and Shopping in small shops - avoiding the bigger outlets. I will keep you up to dat

I feel deeply with this elderly lady. The Queen. So alone in the big ceremony yesterday. She has lost the closest person to her - a tragic personal loss. I had a whole range of feelings during the funeral of her husband Prince Philip. I never met the guy but I met his wife and her Mother. Rich or poor Old or young I reach out with love to all. Let me tell you about when I had lunch with the Queen - and what we chatted about:: When I had lunch with the Queen ...... I Met someone for lunch. I was on her right. She was on my left. She had picked me from a list She didn’t want anyone boring cliche conversation not for her Good on you Ma'am I planned what I wanted to communicate  what I wanted to share with her. I didn’t want to talk ‘level one’, (Corgi dogs and Buckingham Palace gossip!) It did help because I had met her Mother - the Queen Mother when she visited the Mayflower Family Centre in 1980 when she was 80!. She remembered the Queen Mums famous photograph of her playing snooker
